Up for sale is a premium, fully tested vintage Lionel O-Gauge model train collection from the early 1970s (MPC Era). Unlike most vintage lots found online, this entire set has been benchmark tested and is confirmed to be in 100% working operational order. It is an excellent, layout-ready bundle for collectors or hobbyists looking for a massive expansion setup.

Operational Status:

  • Locomotive (#8020): Bench tested. Runs smoothly in both forward and reverse. The motor pulls strong, gears are responsive, and the front directional headlight functions perfectly.

  • Transformer & Power Pack: Fully tested and supplying steady, adjustable AC voltage through the terminal track clip.

  • Massive Track Lot:

    • A huge, multi-piece expansion lot of traditional vintage O/O-27 gauge 3-rail metal tubular track. Includes dozens of straight sections, curves, and manual layout switch tracks.

Condition Notes:

The set is in great vintage, pre-owned condition showing normal signs of age and light play wear. There are minor paint scuffs on some car bodies and typical light oxidation on some steel track rails/pins consistent with a 50-year-old collection. However, the track and locomotive rollers have been cleaned to ensure solid electrical contact and smooth rolling. All plastic shells, wheel assemblies, and couplers are structurally intact without major cracks or breaks. Original boxes are not included.
