Add some authentic, rugged farm charm to your shelf with this vintage 1/16 scale John Deere 4440 die-cast tractor by Ertl. Modeled after John Deere’s incredibly popular “Iron Horse” series tractor from the late 1970s and early ’80s, this heavy-duty die-cast model features a Sound-Gard style enclosed cab, a detailed interior with a brown seat and steering wheel, wide front steering, and classic yellow inserts on deep-tread rubber tires.
Condition Report: This item comes from a private childhood collection and shows honest play wear, giving it a fantastic “straight from the fields” vintage look.

Body & Paint: Significant paint chipping and play wear along the cab roof edges, fenders, hood, and nose nose cone, exposing the solid die-cast metal underneath. The original side decals are still largely intact and legible.

Components: The cab frame, interior seat, and steering wheel are fully intact. The exhaust stack and cab glass/plastic insert are missing. Axles are straight, and the rolling tires turn freely.
An excellent, nostalgic piece for an open-shelf farm display, or a perfect restoration project candidate for custom toy builders!
