Description
Offered here is a classic 1909–11 T206 Mike Donlin “With Bat” baseball card featuring the New York star in one of the most recognizable poses from the legendary T206 White Border set.
The card depicts Donlin in his New York uniform holding a bat against the distinctive green background characteristic of the era’s beautiful color lithography. Issued with a Piedmont 350-460 tobacco back, this card represents an authentic piece of early baseball and tobacco-card history.
Mike Donlin was one of baseball’s most colorful stars of the early 1900s. Known as “Turkey Mike,” he was an outstanding hitter who spent much of his career with the New York Giants and finished his major-league career with a .333 batting average.
This example is housed in a custom High Cotton Collectibles protective slab for preservation and display. No numerical estimated grade has been assigned, allowing collectors to evaluate the card’s condition directly from the photographs.
