Over the years I’ve worked w/ a lot of eCommerce solutions, both paid as well as open-source, and I have to say that I’ve never been impressed w/ any one system like I have been Jigoshop. I’m including full-blown paid / proprietary systems like Storefront, Turnkey Webtools, and FoxyCart, as well as open-sourced projects like […]
The Boy that Tickled Tusk’s Nose!!
Just something really quick and personal I wanted to share that is probably of very little importance to most people (especially given this terrible football weekend we just experienced, more on that later). Razorback Football has always been a big deal to our family, we absolutely love it, and even though Football Season usually coincides […]
Todays GoDaddy Attack by @AnonymousOwn3r
Today’s GoDaddy outage may have been one of the largest web attacks of all time, definitely something interesting to watch unfold (especially since the majority of my clients don’t use GoDaddy). My morning started out normally, I had a meeting around 11:00am or so and by that point I had just about made my way […]
My Thoughts About Misery on Markham
Captain Max Pruss, captain of the Hindenburg, Edward Smith, captain of the Titanic, and now John L. Smith, head football coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks. That’s how a Sunday afternoon talk show ended their program this weekend, and appropriately so. This weekend was possibly the worst weekend in the history of Arkansas Razorback football, some […]

US Banks Beware, “Project Blitzkreig” is Coming!!
Okay, so this is a crazy thing that is developing in the world of cyber-terrorism with a lot of technical aspects so I’m just going to summarize. There is a “Criminal Startup” based in Russia, that’s offering hackers from around the globe, a share in the revenue gained by participating in a mass trojan attack […]
Live Blogging: Notes from NWA Techfest 2012
Having an awesome morning at NWA Techfest, great turnout for the inaugural event. Since all of my slides are ready for my 2pm presentation I figured I would live blog my notes (since I left my moleskin at home). So, if you were unable to make it up to Fayetteville this morning, enjoy… The highlight […]
Bug: Ether Builder – Leaking Drafts + Trash in Standard WordPress Search Results (Updated)
Update 08/23/12: I received a tweet this evening from Lucas that he had fixed the issues related to WordPress search leaking content from drafts and trash. I have sent him some additional information related to the issues we’ve been experiencing w/ IE recently, I’m hoping we can get that resolved as well. I’m setting up […]
Mac Question: Is it Possible to Merge Folders Instead of Replace / Keep Both?
Here’s the one gripe I have about the Mac that I really wish they would address soon. In Windows, if you have two folders or directories that are the same filename, Windows will ask you if you want to Merge the data in the directories together. In the Mac environment it asks you if you […]

In the coming weeks and months I’m going to be adding some premium scripts, genesis framework child themes and plugins for wordpress into a new section of this website called the marketplace. Many of these premium additions will be for use with the studiopress genesis framework (which will need to be purchased and downloaded here). […]
