Lexa Collection” – 13-Piece Lithic Artifact Group from Eastern Arkansas

$100.00

This collection consists of 13 authentic stone artifacts surface-recovered from private farmland in Lexa, Phillips County, Arkansas. The group showcases the diverse lithic industry of the Arkansas Delta, featuring a mix of cherts and river gravels. The set includes one large bifacial knife/preform, four distinct contracting-stem projectile points (Gary/Dickson types), and various supplemental points and fragments. These pieces represent several thousand years of regional history, ranging from the Archaic to the Woodland periods. Surface found in the “plow zone”; condition is as-found with natural patina and some ancient field wear.
