Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

Reminder: Refresh Meeting Tomorrow!

March 30, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 3 Comments

Just wanted to remind everyone about the Central Arkansas Refresh Group meeting tomorrow night. I have posted a tentative agenda for our next meetup online here. We have secured lots of giveaways for the meeting so be sure to bring your business cards. Since it was kind of short notice we didn’t put out a […]

Artisteer: WordPress Theme Generator

March 29, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

I have been playing around with a software program called Artisteer for a month or so now and it’s starting to grow on me.  With Artisteer you can develop your very own WordPress Theme using the WYSIWYG wizard / editor and export it out in just a fraction of the time it would take to […]

March 28, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 2 Comments

Probably one of the nicest things about email or copying from blog to blog.  As an administrator you are also able to approve or schedule when certain posts go live.  This is also a very handy tool if you are pushing out a high volume of content to your readers. Below you will find some […]

Facebook Surpasses 200 Million Users

March 27, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

This is a hard number to put your head around, but 200 million people will be a part of the Facebook social network by this time next week.  There are so many things that I feel like have contributed to Facebook’s rapid growth, but probably the biggest factor is the quality of their product.  Facebook […]

EP:032609 – Phatguys NASCAR Podcast

March 26, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

I was honored to be asked back onto the Phatguys on Fantasy Nascar Podcast today.  We had a great show and talked about the upcoming race at Martinsville Speedway.  My picks for the race were Tony Stewart and of course Mark Martin.  My dark horse pick was Brian Vickers, we will see how those picks […]

Tips for Working with WordPress

March 26, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 2 Comments

I was just reading Steven Snell’s article on DesignMag, a Community for Designers, and thought that he brought up some very good points about working within the WordPress CMS for client projects.  I personally rely heavily on WordPress, and in my opinion it’s possibly the best thing since sliced bread.  If you would like to […]
