Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

Checking Out Argyle Social

I was talking to Keith Crawford the other night about how we desperately needed to sit down and record another episode of The Cotton Club very soon. Since the first of the year it seems no matter how hard I try I just can’t accumulate any spare time away from active projects. I guess that’s […]

Weight Watchers PointsPlus

February 2, 2011 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

Late last year my dad started going to Weight Watchers with my Aunt so he could lose some weight. It turned out to be one of the best decisions he had ever made, he has lost close to 30lbs and is now eating healthier than he has his entire life. After seeing his results, my […]

Conway Chamber Board Appointment

January 15, 2011 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

Pleth has experienced extraordinary growth since my partners and I started the company. However, this was one board appointment that I accepted instantly for a couple of reasons. For one, the Conway Chamber of Commerce has always been an advocate for not only my business, but technology in general. You might remember several months back […]

Blessed by the Homeless…

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind – Luke 14:13 I am going to do my best to keep this post as short as possible but that might not happen, I have a lot of thoughts in my head and I feel like I need to share […]

Thoughts on Strange Phenomenon

January 7, 2011 by Cotton Rohrscheib 6 Comments

According to a recent article in the Arkansas Times, I am typically classified as a tech blogger, but I would be remiss if I didn’t do a post on the topic that everyone in the state is talking about right now, the dead birds.  In case you have been detained in Guantanamo recently and haven’t […]

Pleth neither one have anything to do w/ this product but I feel like it’s an awesome product and wanted to share it… I had the opportunity the other day to reconnect with an old friend, Mike Ortner. Mike is a really cool guy, not only is he a developer but also a visionary, and […]

Moving Files to the Cloud

December 27, 2010 by Cotton Rohrscheib 3 Comments

I have every source file from every web project that I have worked on for the past 10+ years stored on physical drives inside my office connected to my network. I also have backup media (CD’s, DVD’s) of these files also cataloged in an enormous library as a redundant backup system.  This has served me […]

Let’s Make History in 2011

December 27, 2010 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

Usually this time of year everyone starts setting goals or resolutions for the new year. Some of these goals we reach, or at least come close enough that we feel good about them. Some not so much.  This year I am keeping it simple, instead of just saying that I want to be successful in […]

Thoughts on Net Neutrality

December 22, 2010 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I have had a couple of people ask me about Net Neutrality lately so I figured I would do a post on the topic to educate those who might not be familiar. When the internet was created, it was created to be this free and open area where users could share information and interact with […]
