Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

I’ll give you an example… BesiegeĀ® Insecticide is a popular product […]

Update on Our Backyard Chickens… Wings Clipped, Named, and Tagged.

July 27, 2020 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

This past weekend I enlisted the help of a few relatives to assist in catching, holding, and tagging our backyard birds while Donna and I clipped their wings. This poultry rodeo was quite comical but we managed to get the job done a lot faster than I thought we would. We came up w/ some […]

Pruning Tomato Plants for Maximum Yield and Extended Growing Season in My Raised Bed Gardens

July 20, 2020 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

Late last season when my tomato plants had almost played out for the season due to some fungus issues that I wasn’t able to control, someone told me about aggressively pruning tomato plants (indeterminate varieties) to maximize yields and extend the growing season by keeping plants healthy and productive. This was something new to me, […]

Why I Grow Indeterminate Tomato Varieties in my Raised Beds…

July 20, 2020 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I like to plant indeterminate tomato varieties because they start growing the minute I transport them outside and do not stop until we have our first frost. Some varieties can grow to become 6′ to 20′ feet tall and will continue to produce fruit the entire growing season. In central Arkansas I’ve had really good […]

Aside from the intense heat we’ve been experiencing here in the delta the past few weeks, I hope that you and your crew are doing well and staying healthy during these crazy times. I just wanted to drop you a quick note this month to check in with you and to let you know about […]
