In 2025, Byrum Brown completed a record-breaking senior season as the quarterback for the South Florida Bulls before entering the transfer portal in December to join the Auburn Tigers for the 2026 season. After returning from a leg injury that sidelined him for most of 2024, he became just the 12th player in FBS history to pass for over 3,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season.
