Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

April 25, 2024 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I’m on the road this week in Mississippi and Alabama meeting w/ our field team and calling on a few growers as planting season is starting to ramp up in the mid-south. For those that have asked, I’m seeing a decrease in Corn acres and an increase in Rice acreage so far –but as you […]

One of our fleet drivers making a delivery in Mississippi

Our team at FBN is spread out across the country bright and early this morning helping growers book their crop inputs, making deliveries, and attending trade shows. Today will be extremely busy for everyone because it’s the last day for growers to lockdown 0% financing for the entire season. The past few days have been […]

Dicamba ban… what happens now?

February 8, 2024 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I share some links that reference the recent ban of dicamba based products by an Arizona federal judge and discuss alternative products like Glufosinate as well as what I’m seeing on the ground working w/ growers in the mid-south.

Memories: 1992 Pinewood Derby

January 28, 2024 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

My dad had the ability to take a look at something and immediately figure out how it worked and could usually repair it even if he’d never seen it before. I was just telling mom that I don’t think I ever bragged on him or gave him enough credit for this while he was alive. […]

Our Farmers First™ Adjuvants & Biological Products Help Your Crops Reach their Full Potential

June 12, 2023 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

The Farmers First™ portfolio of quality crop nutrition can help support soil health, nutrient use and availability, plant health and stress mitigation – all at a great value.

I think when most people think of my role at Farmers Business Network they automatically assume that I pretty much just cover herbicides and insecticides and maybe don’t realize that I also offer fungicides, adjuvants, and biologicals. I think that these product categories often get overlooked in general because a lot of growers haven’t really […]

February Newsletter #2: 0% Financing, Special Programs & Discounts, Crop Insurance, Upcoming Events, Ag Chemical Price Transparency Report

February 18, 2023 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I’ve spoken to a lot of growers that typically have their crop protection and seed booked by this time of year and I’ve been surprised by how many of them are just now starting to finalize their crop plans for the year. Typically the earlier you lock down your crop inputs the more you can […]
