Description
The 1991 Pro Set Troy Aikman #128 features the Hall of Fame quarterback during the early years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys. Issued during Aikman’s third NFL season, this card captures a young quarterback who would soon become the leader of one of the most successful teams of the 1990s.
Selected first overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1989 NFL Draft, Aikman developed into the centerpiece of a Cowboys offense that also featured Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin. He helped lead Dallas to three Super Bowl championships during the 1990s and was named MVP of Super Bowl XXVII.
Aikman spent his entire 12-season NFL career with the Cowboys, earning six Pro Bowl selections and finishing with 32,942 passing yards and 165 touchdown passes. His accomplishments earned him induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
