The 1990-91 Fleer Charles Barkley #1 features the Hall of Fame forward during his years with the Philadelphia 76ers. One of the NBA’s most dominant and entertaining players, Barkley combined tremendous strength, rebounding ability, and scoring talent despite being undersized for his position.
Selected fifth overall in the 1984 NBA Draft, Barkley quickly developed into a star for Philadelphia. During his career, he earned 11 NBA All-Star selections, was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for the 1992-93 season, and became a member of the legendary 1992 United States Olympic “Dream Team.”
Barkley played 16 NBA seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, and Houston Rockets, finishing his career with more than 23,000 points and 12,000 rebounds. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
