Mobile Twitter (SMS) Updates!

Here’s probably the coolest thing about Twitter, you can update your Twitter Feed by using your mobile phone.  That’s right, just setup your mobile device on their website, here’s the link:  Twitter Device Setup

Once this is setup, just add Twitter to your contacts and list the mobile #40404.  Once this is all setup, all you have to do to update your Twitter Feed from wherever you are is text a message to: #40404 and it automatically updates your feed status.  Pretty slick stuff.

Here’s another cool thing you can do, let’s say you are following some of your co-workers status’s on Twitter online, you can also add the option of tracking them on your mobile device by going into your settings.  What this means is that you will get a text message update anytime one of your friends updates their status.  I am starting to get my mind around Twitter, just haven’t found a practical use for it yet, but still looking…
