Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

I had the opportunity to meet with Pastor Burden at Conway Faith Church this past week and I think they are going to be our newest ministry client.  His goal for the project was to bring some energy to their website that their existing website lacks.  We will be assisting the staff at Conway Faith […]

G-SNAP Beta Launched!

May 12, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

Some of you might remember I blogged about G-Snap a while back, and at the time I was very impressed with their product and even more impressed with their level of service.  Well, these guys have outdone themselves this time.  I spoke to my good friend Ramsey Ksar from G-Snap today and we discussed their […]

This past week we have been running down the DNS and Domain Registration information for a new client, the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival in Helena, Arkansas.  I am happy to announce that tonight we were finally able to get the nameservers pointed to our servers and the website launched.  I am turning the login […]

Current Projects: Bolton Electric

May 11, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I recently wrapped up a small project for BECI Arkansas (Bolton Electric and Controls of Arkansas).  The client came to us wanting to more or less provide them with an electronic brochure detailing their services and providing their prospective clients with their contact information.  They provided me with their own content to work from as […]

Rupert Murdoch: “Internet Will Soon Be Over”

May 7, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 2 Comments

Honestly I don’t think that I have ever in my life seen someone as successful as Rupert Murdoch be as far off base as he is right now trying to get a grasp on what is happening with corporate media.  It’s nothing new, and it’s been going on for longer than you think. Rupert, it’s […]

My partners and I were hired by the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival in Helena, Arkansas this past week to redesign their website for the upcoming festival.  I started to work on the project over the weekend and finally loaded the design to our sandbox today for our clients to review.  I will be posting […]

Former Chairman’s Advice for MySpace

May 4, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

business partners and I first met Richard Rosenblatt a few years ago in Chicago at a conference and later that same weekend Demand Media treated us all to a night on the town at some swank Chicago hot-spot, can’t remember the name now, but it was nice.  At the time Richard had just started Demand […]

May 4, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

We finally released our Media Kit & Advertising Guide for NascarView.com today.  Prior to posting it online today I made a comment on Twitter that we were preparing to post it and that we had already sent out 10 over the past few days and then we got like 5 requests via twitter so I […]

HootSuite / Adsense Frustrations

May 2, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib 5 Comments

My partners and I have been using Hootsuite for a couple of months now to feed our twitter feed from our Nascar website.  Out of all of the Twitter tools out there, this one ranks in my top 5 just because of what it allows you to do.  You can manage multiple accounts from their […]
