Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

Another Look at MySpace

I have often compared email address from a college to join Facebook in the very beginning.)  But, my primary gripe about MySpace nowadays is that it is totally out of control.  There is not the level of interaction on MySpace that there is on Facebook, not to mention the out of control templates that members […]

Refresh Group Update

January 15, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

Just wanted to post an update to a post I made earlier in the week regarding the organization of a Refresh Group for Central Arkansas.  This idea has gotten a lot of good feedback from those that I have heard from.  A few have commented that they would be interested in attending these type of […]

Advertising & Social Networks

January 15, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I was reading an interesting article in the Financial Times today about Social Networking and it’s effect on advertising.  This is exactly why I have been involved with social networking because I do see it as the next frontier for my industry. My business partners have been dabbling with social networking as well so that […]

GoDaddy Denial of Service

January 15, 2009 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I was just reading on WHIR this morning about GoDaddy’s most recent denial of service that brought down several thousand of their clients websites yesterday.  In their response they noted that even though it was several thousands of websites, it only represents a small percentage of their clients. This is one of the downsides to […]
