Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

Whatever Happened to Civilized Debate?

July 29, 2016 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I’m old enough to remember watching President Reagan & President Carter on prime-time television debating over key issues. I can remember the Iranian Hostages and how we went to bed each night praying they would be returned to their families here in the US. It didn’t matter which side of the aisle you were on, […]

Update on Donna’s Transplant

July 14, 2016 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

As many of you are already aware via Facebook posts I shared this past week, we had a small hiccup in the road concerning Donna’s kidney failure. I had to rush her to the hospital to have a 4mm kidney stone removed. As some of you might recall, it was a kidney stone last year […]

July 14, 2016 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

The past two weeks I’ve had a lot of distractions, well one distraction really, my wife Donna (as many of you already know) is suffering from kidney failure. We had a hiccup in the road last week and I had to rush her to the hospital to have a stone removed. We are still on […]

Farmers Business Network

June 15, 2016 by Cotton Rohrscheib

Shortly after my TEDx talk last year I was directed to (FBN) Farm Business Network by several contacts from within the AgTech industry. I began following the company pretty closely because we share a lot of similar goals, especially in the areas of increasing productivity, sharing farm data, and on-boarding farmers into the cloud. The […]

The wait is over, the movie GREATER will be in theaters on August 26th. As many of you are already aware, my son Spencer has a role in the movie, he plays Aaron Burlsworth. Donna and I have actually seen the movie at it’s premier in Little Rock last year but due to some last […]

Facebook’s 5k Friend Limit…

May 25, 2016 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

This past week I bumped into something I had no idea I would ever bump into… 5,000 friends. For some reason they have this limit in place that only allows people to have 5k friends w/ their personal profiles. This limit has been in place for a long time and I haven’t seen any updates […]

Update on Donna…

May 25, 2016 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

I’ve had a lot of people ask so I thought I would update the blog w/ our latest reports from the doctors regarding Donna’s kidney failure. All in all her numbers weren’t that concerning on things like phosphorous, creatine, protein, etc. but in a period of two months we did see her overall kidney function […]
