Lance Turner from Arkansas Business along with several other Twitter folk from the Central Arkansas area held the first Tweetup the other night at Sticky Fingers. Even with American Idol on television and Central Arkansas Native Kris Allen going strong there was still a great turnout. If you will take a look around the room you will see several of our folks from the Central Arkansas Refresh Group in attendance. This Tweetup’s turnout and the success that we have seen promoting the Central Arkansas Refresh Group just demonstrates the power of social media and how passionate we are about it in the Natural State! I am looking forward to the next Tweetup and as soon as the date and location are announced I will be sure to post a note letting everyone know the details, etc.
