The 2011 winter season has been one for the record books for central Arkansas. This week we witnessed one of the biggest snow events we have seen in years, I personally have between 6-8 inches of snow in my backyard. Yesterday cabin fever set in and I absolutely had to get out of the house so we bundled up, grabbed the puppy and hit the streets. I carried along my camera so I could snap some shots of the winter wonderland, and I am glad I did.
When we turned onto College Street yesterday we glanced over to the hill behind the Conway Country Club and noticed about 200 people lined up on the side of the large slope sledding down the hill. My father in law, being just as big of a child as I am when it comes to snow couldn’t resist so we headed that direction. I snapped close to 100 photos yesterday.
