Vintage ERTL Case 2590 Die-Cast Toy Tractor (1/16 Scale) *Needs Restoration

Description

This is a classic, American-made vintage 1/16 scale die-cast replica of a Case 2590 tractor produced by ERTL in Dyersville, Iowa, dating back to around the late 1970s or early 1980s. Features: Built with a heavy-duty die-cast metal body, a prominent grey plastic cab frame, deep-tread black rubber rear tires with bright red hubs, and a functional front steering mechanism. It features the authentic white, orange/red, and black “Case 2590” factory decal layout along the hood and cab sides. Missing Components: The black or silver plastic exhaust stack/muffler that typically mounts to the top-right side of the white hood is missing.Condition: Heavily played-with “carpet farmer” condition. The white paint shows prominent wear, paint chips, and surface oxidation/rusting across the top of the hood. The tires and undercarriage show a good amount of embedded dust and dirt from years of backyard play, giving it a great, authentic weathered look.
