Unfortunately we had a great tragedy this evening in Central Arkansas, many lives will be forever changed as a result from the storm that just passed through here a few hours ago. I’m still somewhat rattled, we were on a chase and on our way back home when radios started going crazy w/ other spotters talking about a storm blowing up toward Mayflower. Not living too far I immediately panicked knowing my wife was in our safe room w/ my son hunkered down. Once I noticed the trajectory of the storm on our radar I knew they were out of the danger zone and continued past the Dave Ward exit in Conway toward the Mayflower exit. Before we could get there we were face to face w/ a behemoth. Fortunately my team was all okay w/ only minor cuts and bruises, thanks to heavy, heavy prayers that were going on inside my truck we were spared. Here’s the video, I’m going to be on CNN tomorrow morning and hopefully will have my thoughts together a little better than I do right now. But before you go to bed this evening, if you pray, please say a prayer for our community, it was hit hard.
