I found this cool Link to “Do-It-Yourself” State Maps in my old IE bookmarks. I think that my friend Rick at MLS Software sent me this a while back. It allows you to generate state maps with color coded regions for counties. The list of applications for a tool like this are just about endless I would think, I have used this from time to time on projects for clients. Just thought I would pass this link along to anyone that might be needing a way to quickly generate state maps. I don’t see where there is an API setup or methodology listed for plugging into this with a scripted application but I am sure that someone is already thinking of this…
