Cotton Rohrscheib

I've been an entrepreneur my entire life and have been blessed to have been associated with hundreds of startups and projects throughout my career. A few years ago I started offloading many of my business interests to spend more time w/ my family and retool my focus toward the agricultural industry, ultimately I landed at Farmers Business Network, Inc. w/ a great team of people w/ shared mission / vision and the rest is history! I still operate my personal website & blog occasionally on topics of interest to me including; parenting, agriculture, technology, and whatever else comes my direction! My blog, cotton.buzz, is the product of over 20yrs worth of content, photos, podcasts, videos, etc., and all of the content I produce is mine personally, and only represent my views and/or opinions on topics and do not represent any of the businesses or associations I'm affiliated with.

My 2022 Raised Bed Garden Design & Layout

One of my big takeaways after using my new raised beds for the first time last season was that everything seemed pretty crowded from mid-season on. This season I’ve carefully planned the layout to make sure that doesn’t happen again when plants really start adding mass and foliage mid-season. Last season I had 4 tomato […]

Hopefully you had a great end to 2021 and looking forward to the 2022 season! Unfortunately, this past year presented some challenges in the industry from a supply chain perspective that we haven’t really seen before and it appears that many of these issues will be carrying over into the new year. It’s for this reason […]

December 3, 2021 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

It’s hard to believe that it’s already December… I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving. I know that harvest is likely over for most of you, or wrapping up real soon. If you are like me, you’ve probably already started thinking about bowl games, hunting, fishing, Christmas break, etc. With the exception of some field […]

December 1, 2021 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

The other day I shared the new layout for the new raised bed gardens at our Central Arkansas residence along w/ some bullet points of things that I learned last season in our first season in these new beds. It’s always good to take notes in-season so you don’t forget to review and make changes […]

My Top 3 Corn & Soybean Seed Recommendations for the Mid-South from Farmers Business Network

November 18, 2021 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

A couple of years ago we launched our F2F Genetics seed line into the industry and I’ll be completely honest,.. I knew very little about the seed business then, but I’ve learned a lot about seed since adding it to our portfolio, in fact I’ve learned enough to know that I have lot left to […]
