To drive legal innovation, support entrepreneurship and benefit the community at large. The UALR Bowen Legal Innovation Hack-a-Thon is the first legal-themed hackathon in the state of Arkansas. The goal of the hackathon is to drive legal innovation and to support entrepreneurship that benefits the legal community and the community at large.
The hackathon will immediately follow the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, 2016 Law Review Symposium, Legal Hacking: Technology and Innovation in the Legal Profession
Attendees DO NOT NEED LEGAL EXPERIENCE!
We will have legal-tech industry sponsors, law students, attorneys and faculty.
But we need YOUR development skills.
- Our event is open to anyone interested in technology, the law and disrupting legal services through innovation.
- Projects will be started and completed on-site. Sponsor-provided API’s and data will be available, but participants will have free reign to create.
- Attendees DO NOT NEED LEGAL EXPERIENCE!
- We will present a list of project ideas (17 and counting) for teams looking for direction.
