Description
This is a detailed 1:16 scale die-cast metal replica of a historic piece of agricultural engineering. The “Overtime” tractor was produced by the Waterloo Gasoline Engine Company, which was acquired by John Deere in 1918, making this machine an incredibly significant ancestor to the modern John Deere line.
Features: As seen across all referenced files, the model features a distinct dark green painted cast-metal frame accented with bright orange steel-styled wheels. It details an open-frame design with a white-painted horizontal engine block, a top-mounted cooling fan, a steerable front axle operated by a chain mechanism, a classic minimal metal driver’s seat, and an elevated side flywheel.
Decals: Authentic oval decals reading “The Overtime Tractor – A Worker” are perfectly preserved and clearly legible on both the rear fenders (shown in IMG_7705_res (5).jpg) and the front radiator/fuel tank assembly (shown in IMG_7702_res (8).jpg and IMG_7703_res (7).jpg).
Condition: This piece is in fantastic, clean vintage condition. The fragile steering chain underneath is fully intact, the steering wheel is present, and the green and orange factory paint shows very little wear or chipping compared to most toys of this vintage.
