I have posted a number of posts previously about my PHP/MySQL based Real Estate Content Management Solution. I know that there are a few other options on the market, even some of them free to the end user under the open source model but I found them to be lacking in some respects so I have been devoting a lot of time working on this solution, here are some of the past posts on my solution:

There are a few other clients in other regions that are beta-testing this solution, another developer that I work with has passed this solution onto them to test, these developers have given me some valuable input for the solution so I released a few copies to them to test out, I have gotten pretty good responses back from them and I have learned that this is the best way to beta-test software, not only do I get rapid bug reports from the end users filtered by the developers but I also get proposed solutions from the developers so it’s a win-win if you ask me…
I thought that I would post a new list of features here that are included in Powersite Real Estate CMS v1.0 beta. Here’s what’s there already…
- Total Content Management of the Website’s Content
- Utilizes Headers & Footer Includes provided by a Web Developer
- Home Page Featured Listings Management (up to 3 featured listings, more available by request)
- Database driven Listings Database (supports co-listing agents, request information logic for email)
- Listings link out to MLS Provider’s Datasheet for each listing…(this will only work if the client is also using Powersite MLS-IDX solutions.)
- Google Map API, provides a link to each listing by connecting to Google Maps posting the address of the property listing
- Listings Agents “About Us” page, allows for posting Agent Bios, Photos, etc. Also, a link to view a particular agents listings has also been added.
- There are also detail pages for each listing that supports up to 9 thumbnails, additional thumbnails can also be added upon request.
- Ability to embed YouTube videos is also included in this software but is currently not being utilized by the clients I have testing it so it’s reliability can’t be reported, it has been tested by me a few times and seems to work great.
- Additional content pages for area information have been added
- A dynamic subdivision / development solution that allows the Real Estate Company the ability to post a page on their website with information about residential developments, communities, etc., in their listing region. These section also allow the end user to upload photos that are thumbnailed and additional data such as a pdf printout or brochure
- A trusted provider application that allows the client to upload information valuable to their clients such as Appraisers, Mortgage Companies, Home Inspectors, Local Lodging, etc.
- The entire application is very search engine friendly in that it creates dynamic page titles and corresponding H1 tags for listings they enter into the system.
I am hoping that this solution will be launched in the very near future, when it’s live on the web I will post additional information about it here. If you are a Real Estate Company and would like to discuss your web presence with us, please feel free to contact us, we would love the opportunity to work with you.
