I’m Speaking at TEDx Markham Street

June 16, 2015 by Cotton Rohrscheib

tedxmarkhamstreetbanner305I think the official news broke today about the speaking lineup for TEDx Markham Street (not TEDx Little Rock). I blogged about this event a while back in anticipation of the formal announcement and couldn’t really let the cat out of the bag then about my session. I still can’t go into a lot of detail about the session topic, you’ll have to keep waiting for an announcement on their end –this event is pretty highly coordinated by some awesome people and I’m really looking forward to it. The only hint that I will give in regards to my session is that I’ve got a lot of things to share and it’s all stuff that’s near and dear to my heart…

I’m honored to be in some amazing company in terms of speakers, a few I’m already friends with and a few I can’t wait to meet. Here’s the final list of speakers that was announced today…

  • Karama Neal
  • Celia Anderson
  • Erica Swallow
  • Curtis Lowery, MD
  • Stephen Canon, M.D.
  • First Lieutenant Omon Fitzgerald “Fitz” Hill, USATC
  • James L. “Skip” Rutherford III, Dean
  • P. Allen Smith
  • Charles Morgan
  • Anthony C. Johnson
  • Cotton Rohrscheib
  • I. Barry Goldberg
  • Joel Gordon
  • Epiphany Morrow
  • Reese Rowland
  • Chris James

Tickets are $20 for students and $25 for general admission. Tickets will be sold at the door for $30. If you want to purchase tickets online, you can get yours here.

You can download the official press release here (pdf). The event is already getting a lot of publicity from around the state, here’s a list of recent stories I’ve seen so far…
