It’s hard to believe that it’s already December… I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving. I know that harvest is likely over for most of you, or wrapping up real soon. If you are like me, you’ve probably already started thinking about bowl games, hunting, fishing, Christmas break, etc. With the exception of some field work, most guys that I’ve spoken to have pretty much put their operations into cruise control until next year.
Products Already Disappearing…
As I’m sure you are already aware, supply chain disruptions continue to be a very challenging issue for the crop protection industry and many of the predictions we made a few months ago about product shortages and massive price increases have became reality. Just in the past week we’ve had to pull 6 products from our store much earlier than expected. While I’m confident we will have additional supply available in the coming weeks for some of these products, the reality is that many growers are either (a) going to pay much more for these products than previous years, or (b) will be unable to get these products at all… (worst case scenario).
Navigating Supply Chain Issues in 2022
If you have time, I highly recommend attending a free webinar on December 7th hosted by our Chief Economist, Kevin McNew, w/ multiple leaders across FBN businesses that will answer questions about supply chain related challenges and opportunities farmers will be facing in 2022. If you would like to attend this free webinar, click here to RSVP online.
Do you have supply chain related question for leaders of FBN’s various businesses (Inputs, Finance, Insurance, Crop Marketing)? If so, ask them here and be sure to register now to learn about expected trends and actions you should be considering

EPA Doesn’t Promise Dicamba Use in 2022…
I was just reading an article discussing the uncertainty as to whether or not we will have Dicamba for the 2022 season. Obviously, this is a controversial topic and I certainly don’t want to offer an opinion supporting either side of this debate –but I do question what a lot of growers will do if the Dicamba technologies are removed from our toolboxes this season? If you are looking for an alternative technology to try on some of your acres this season, I highly recommend checking out our Enlist E3® Soybeans.
Getting Ready for 2022 Season…
A couple of weeks ago I did a blog post w/ some recommendations for growers going into the Fy22 season. Hopefully, one of the biggest takeaways from that post was that growers need to get prepared for 2022 ASAP and start making decisions earlier than ever before. During this process, I hope that you will consider giving FBN an opportunity this season if you’ve never done business w/ us. Below, you will find some links to get your account setup and also apply for credit.
