Update: We’re Not in Kansas Anymore…

May 29, 2012 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

The past week was a whirlwind and I haven’t had a chance to update everyone in a few days so I figured it was time to push out an update today. We got to return to Arkansas last week w/ Spencer and he has been the center of attention every since. He had the opportunity to meet and spend a few days w/ his Granny and Papaw Rohrscheib this past weekend, to summarize then entire holiday weekend in a few words; he has them wrapped around his finger…

We have ordered all of his furniture for the nursery, compliments of his grandparents, who were chomping at the bit to get this done!! It should be delivered in the next few days w/ the exception of a few pieces that are on back-order but will be in shortly thereafter. We are picking out bedding and all of that good stuff today and tomorrow, I’ve put Donna in charge of that process since I admittedly know nothing. I am coordinating his die-cast tractor collection that will be a huge part of the farm decor, that’s all coming together nicely. We have registered at a few places, I will post an updated list on all of this when I have it. Hopefully this evening. Thanks so much to all of you who have already sent gifts, he’s going to personally be overseeing the thank-you notes as they are sent out.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers for Baby Spencer, his health is improving greatly everyday. We got an appointment for 8am in the morning to go see our own Pediatrician here in Conway tomorrow and can’t wait to see about switching his food around in hopes we can reduce the amount he spits up after we burp him. Please keep this one area in your prayers as we continue to get adjusted as a family…
