Thoughts on Strange Phenomenon

January 7, 2011 by Cotton Rohrscheib 6 Comments

According to a recent article in the Arkansas Times, I am typically classified as a tech blogger, but I would be remiss if I didn’t do a post on the topic that everyone in the state is talking about right now, the dead birds.  In case you have been detained in Guantanamo recently and haven’t heard, new years day we had thousands of birds fall from the sky in Beebe, Arkansas, then a few days later we learned that thousands of drum fish were found along a 20 mile stretch of the Arkansas River. Granted, if nothing else was added to this blog post it would be enough alone to leave you scratching your head right? But wait, there’s more…

In Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay, there have also been reports of dead fish washing ashore, and more birds falling from the sky in Kentucky and Louisiana. Oh, and today I learned that across the ocean, dead doves have been raining down on Italy.  But, let’s not let ourselves get locked into thinking that it’s just the birds and fish that are in danger, apparently large numbers of crabs have been reported washing ashore across the globe as well. Okay, so if I stopped right here this would surely be enough to leave you scratching your head huh? Well, wait, there’s more! (in my best Billy May’s voice).  Just for added measure, why don’t we also look at the Goldstream River, which has turned a beautiful shade of Chartreuse Green…

Now I know there are tons of theories out there as to why these events have all occurred, I have heard everything from high altitude hail to fireworks as being possible culprits, but I don’t know that I buy into those theories. I also know that there are tons of conspiracy theories out there regarding these events, the most interesting having to do w/ the recent murder of a former Bush staffer…

Yeah, I know, a lot of theories.  I am not for sure what I believe yet, but one things for sure, all of us are wanting to know something whether it’s a Klingon war vessel, Al Qaeda, or Sarah Palin to blame.  We all want answers.

What are your thoughts?

There have also been reports of dead birds in Sweden around the same time frame.

Here’s something to think about: A large airport in Florida had to shutdown until they moved some signs around (should be done by January 13th, 2011) because the magnetic north pole has shifted towards Russia to such an extent that “north” is no longer “north”.

You know I have been giving a lot of thought to the environmental factors, there might be something to that theory. I hope there are people (that know) out investigating these events and that they report back to us soon.

I dont think this is due to a terrorist attack and I dont see any link to that. My belief is that this is all because of pollution. Everything on this earth is polluted including human being.
