Our firm has been retained for assistance in liquidating their inventory position on a popular disinfectant, Biosentry® 904. This product is widely used in the poultry, swine, farm, and veterinary industries and is available from multiple vendors that service these industries. In some cases, vendors have limited purchase volume because of high demand. (see screenshot).

Biosentry 904 Disinfectant – quaternary ammonium disinfectant that cleans and sanitizes premises, including poultry swine, and farm areas, as well as veterinary clinics and animal care practice areas. Features a blend of four quaternary ammonium compounds.

Biosentry 904 is a hospital grade disinfectant that cleans and disinfects hard, nonporous surface areas in veterinary practices, mushroom farms, animal laboratories and more. It is effective in killing various viruses, bacteria, and fungi, and provides mold and mildew control. Biosentry 904 is also labeled to clean and sanitize nonporous personal protective safety equipment, including protective headgear, hard hats, half-mask respirators, full face breathing apparatus, gas masks, goggles, spectacles, face shields, hearing protectors and ear muffs. The active ingredient in Biosentry 904, quaternary ammonium, is listed as a disinfectant for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus (COVID-19).

BioSentry® 904 Disinfectant is effective in 400 ppm hard water (as CaCO ). Disinfects in 5% organic soil load. Recommended for chicken, turkey, duck, quail, goose, ostrich and other avian hatcheries. Effective in poultry, swine and livestock (including equine) premises. Useful in laboratory animal and animal breeder facilities.

BioSentry® 904 Disinfectant contains sequestering agents, to prevent the precipitation of minerals and metals from hard water. Deodorizes by killing most microorganisms that cause offensive odours. Contains no perfume to mask or hide any odours that might exist

Current Product Demand / Availability

As of today, April 21, 2021, a simple search yielded two vendors offering this product (see screenshots on the pages that follow). One vendor, Neogen, is currently out of stock and the other, PBS Animal Health, is strictly limited purchase quantities of this product. Both of these vendors can be found on page 1 of Google Search Results for this product so we feel that these two cases are likely representative of the industry as a whole.
