It’s hard to imagine anything worse than Joplin or Tuscaloosa, but I think it’s safe to say that Moore, Oklahoma will now be the deadliest tornado on record, the death toll this morning is reported to be at 91 (many of those are children). It’s safe to say that that number is fluid at this point as search & recovery continues today. One thing that sticks out to me this morning is that I’ve seen a lot of storm chaser friends check in throughout the night and they’ve all gone into service mode, boots on the ground. I have heard numerous accounts from them saying that their lives are forever changed by what they’ve seen. This sort of hit home for Donna and I because we’ve spent so much time in Moore over the years w/ our brother and sister in law and their children that live there. So many of the places that we are familiar with and visited frequently are now completely gone. It’s a sad day, gonna get sadder. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by this storm.
