This past weekend I had the privilege attending and speaking at Wordcamp Fayetteville 2012, it was an incredible conference (as always), and I wanted to share a few thoughts about the Conference and the weekend while they were still fresh on my mind. First off, kudos to the #WCFay team, they did an awesome job w/ this years event — they always do! This years event had four tracks: WordPress 101, Entrepreneur, Content Creator, and Developer.
This year my talk was on the Developer track, I talked about Genesis Framework, my slides are available on the #WCFay Slideshare although they might not be much use since the majority of my session was spent building a website on my sandbox using the Genesis Framework but feel free to download the slides anyway! Also, I’ve posted some photos to picasa that I snapped over the weekend on my iPhone…
A couple of sessions I really enjoyed this year were:
- Going Mobile w/ Shelley Keith
- UX, UI, WTF w/ Dustin Williams
- Responsive Themes & Interaction w/ Jay Thornton
Of course, my session went over-time a little bit, but I did get to share a few services / plugins that I’m really enjoying these days:
- Ether Content Builder Plugin
- ManageWP.com
Below are a few tweets from the weekend:

@sk140 Yes! I was wishing we'd had a couple more minutes to explore that, but I'm definitely exploring it further. Thanks, @cottonr! #wcfay
