I was honored the other day when I was asked to be the keynote speaker at this years Wordcamp Fayetteville which will be held on August 2, 2014 at Donald W. Reynolds Center at Walton College at the University of Arkansas. Tickets for this years event are already on sale for $30, in addition to all of the sessions on WordPress you will also receive:
- Admission to the Welcome Meet-Up Friday Night
- Admission to WordCamp Fayetteville on Saturday
- Lunch on Saturday Afternoon.
- A WordCamp Fayetteville 2014 T-shirt
- Admission to the after party on Saturday Night
- Admission to the Guru Gallery on Sunday Morning
I’ve attended Wordcamp Fayetteville every year since it’s creation and I have to say that it’s one of my favorite conferences of the year. I highly recommend Wordcamp for everyone that works on the web, especially those that are using WordPress to manage their business or blog. There will be tracs for all levels of users from beginner to developer, and for those of you that might be on the fence, the WordPress community (especially in Arkansas) is a close-knit group that loves to help and encourage one another. So, yes I highly recommend this event. To register, please visit: http://2014.fayetteville.wordcamp.org/tickets/ (there are currently 108 tickets remaining).
Also, I’ve been working a lot on my keynote, and it’s my intention to “leave it all on the field”, so please attend if you can, and I promise I’ll give some clues as to what I plan to cover in the weeks leading up to the event.
