This is just too cool, I got my Garmin Forerunner 201 in today and after dinner Donna and I took a leisurely stroll around our neighborhood so I could test out this new gizmo. It was really cool and easy to setup right out of the box, it only took about 4 minutes to lock onto a satellite. We made one loop around our neighborhood which I had always been under the impression was just about 3/4 of a mile, it was actually shorter than that, about 6/10 of a mile. We just walked slowly around looking at all of the new construction that’s going on, I will work on pace, etc. later just wanted to get an idea how the gps worked. When I got home I signed up for my free account on MotionBased Trailnetwork (Garmin website) and plugged my GPS into my serial port and uploaded my data. It only took about 2 seconds to upload and whoolah, my information is located here: Link to MotionBased TrailNetwork Digest.
