Incentives for New Customers at Farmers Business Network, Crop Insurance Deadlines and Advice, Chemical Pricing Report, GreenEye partnership, and much more!

February 10, 2023 by Cotton Rohrscheib 1 Comment

I don’t know about you, but it’s hard for me to believe that we are already rolling into February. It seemed like January flew by really fast, it won’t be long before we are pulling the planters out of the shed and heading to the field to get this 2023 crop in the ground. It’s funny how the vast majority of people outside agriculture have the opinion that farmers only work a couple months out of the year and pretty much sit around or hunt everyday during the winter months. Those outside the industry have no idea that running an operation of any size requires year round management. Long before a plow touches the soil there are things like equipment repair and maintenance, crop marketing, creating an operating budget, securing financing, making seed variety selections, building a crop protection plan, just to name a few, require a considerable amount of time. When you take all of this into consideration the “offseason” here in south really isn’t very long at all.

This month I wanted to share some timely information with you that you will hopefully find helpful. I’m also sharing some details about current promotions and programs we currently have running at Farmers Business Network. As usual, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reply to this email or reach out to me personally, or you local FBN Community Builder (see list of community builders w/ email addresses).

Current Programs & Specials for New Customers

We have two great opportunities for new customers to save money on their crop inputs this month. There’s never been a better time to give Farmers Business Network an opportunity to help you reduce your input costs and increase your profitability right now!

0% Financing, Get Started Today:
With interest rates continuing to rise many growers that I work with have taken advantage of our 0% financing. Qualified growers can.get 0% Interest Financing on inputs for 30 days from their first FBN Direct purchase, now through August 31, 2023. Click here to explore our financing options, or jump directly to our online application forms for input financing or operating line

$1000 Discount for New Customers:
Most growers that I have worked with over the years have told me that they would much rather receive discounts on the front end of their input purchases as opposed to waiting until the end of the season to receive payments from complex rebate programs. For this reason we’ve tried to keep things as simple as possible. Our latest program for First-time FBN Direct customers who spend $20,000 or more will get $1,000 off their order automatically at checkout.

Important: Herbicide Pricing Report, We Need Your Input. Please Share Your Chemical Invoices…

As a member of Farmers Business Network, you collaborate with over 50,000 farmers working with FBN to unlock the value in data. By working together, we create reports like this to help all our members make knowledgeable decisions that can lead to managing a profitable business. Membership is free, if you are not already a member, you can signup here…The FBN Research Team is creating a transparency report on herbicide prices. The information gleaned from this report will provide insights into the trends and current state of the herbicide market, as well as help farmers in their decision-making for the upcoming planting season.    We are asking FBN members to submit invoices from October 2021 to now. Pics of invoices can be submitted to [email protected] or through the FBN app. A video guide on how to use the app can be found here. For submitting invoices, we’ll send you the full report summarizing FBN Member responses of average prices paid by region and include even more detailed local results — where adequate responses are received to provide value.

Your Information will not be sold or shared and will remain anonymous…

Huge News: FBN + Greeneye Partnership…

Okay, so I’ve known about this partnership for a pretty long time and have had to keep it a secret –and it’s been incredibly hard (especially for me). This Greeneye technology, simply put, will change the ag industry forever much like the tractor did in it’s day. Simply put, this amazing technology allows growers to dramatically reduce their input costs through precision spraying technology. This technology is available for after market machinery and recognizes weeds in the field and only sprays where needed… there’s actually  some really great information that I will be sharing below about our partnership as well as direct links to learn more about Greeneye. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I will get you in touch w/ our team to learn more….

    Hello,

I came across your site, and began reading some articles. I see in this FBN article you had (see list of FBN community builders). I did not see a link to the community builders, is there a way to see or a link?

    Thank you
