Found out today that I’m going to be speaking at the NWA TechFest on Saturday, August 24, 2012 at the University of Arkansas Global Campus. I think my session starts at 10am that morning. My talk at TechFest will relate to Genesis Framework as a tool for rapid deployment of themes in WordPress CMS. If you haven’t attended a TechFest before, you owe it to yourself to attend at least one in your lifetime and I promise you will rank it among the top values in tech conferences today. I never fail to meet some of the most awesome, creative people at these events, and once you weigh in the costs (practically free) versus the level of content you will learn I’m sure you will agree w/ me. What is a techfest you might ask? Well here goes…
NWA TechFest is a technical conference with a primary focus to provide training/teaching sessions that are immediately beneficial to the broadest range of IT professionals in their day-to-day jobs. We accomplish this with numerous national and international speakers delivering 50 minute sessions. A charitable non-profit event organized by local area volunteers. Even though it is a free event, we ask that you support the community and PLEASE bring TWO CANS or TWO BUCKS.
