Don’t Procrastinate! Price Increases, Product Shortages, and Opportunities to Reduce Input Costs for 2022 Season are Ending Soon!

January 4, 2022 by Cotton Rohrscheib Leave a Comment

Hopefully you had a great end to 2021 and looking forward to the 2022 season! Unfortunately, this past year presented some challenges in the industry from a supply chain perspective that we haven’t really seen before and it appears that many of these issues will be carrying over into the new year. It’s for this reason that I’ve been trying to touch base w/ growers to encourage them to look at pre-season this year differently than previous seasons.  This months newsletter has a lot of really important and time sensitive information below, please take a few minutes to look over everything and don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of our community builders w/ any questions you might have!

Price Increases
Just wanted to give you a heads up, we are expecting to see a slight price increase this week on multiple products. In order to take advantage of current prices you will need to get your order in before end of business on Wednesday, January 7th… however, I wouldn’t hesitate!

Product Shortages
Below you will find a handful of products that we’ve been getting a lot of requests for recently. Unfortunately, some of these products are in short supply and we’ve had to pull them from our store. If there’s a product you would like a price quote on, please don’t hesitate to drop me a note!

Making Seed Decisions…
I know that a lot of you are still making decisions as to what crops and varieties you will have next season. With the high cost of fertilizer my hunch is that we will likely see a lot more soybean acres as opposed to corn –but time will tell. Before you make your final corn & soybean variety selections this season please consider giving FBN a small percentage of your acreage this season. We have a couple of varieties that I’m recommending for the Mid-Souththat I would really like to see in production this season. Let me know if you have any questions about our seed offerings. Click here to download some information about our southern options.

Regional Conferences & Tradeshows
Be sure to look for our booth at these upcoming conferences & tradeshows in the mid-south.

Upcoming Meetings w/ FBN Community Builders

Don’t Procrastinate!
My advice to everyone I speak with this month… Don’t Procrastinate! I highly recommend you are least lock down a percentage of the products you are going to need this season before things really get crazy this season! If there’s anything myself or our team can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We would love an opportunity to serve you this season.

Thanks,
