It’s official, we now have a website. It’s not a lot right now, and actually needs some work to make it search engine friendly but it’s a start nonetheless. Special thanks to David Kinkade from The Arkansas Project for jumping in and helping out w/ the content and our manifesto!!!
If you are unfamiliar with the Central Arkansas Refresh Group, here’s a little bit about the group and what we are all about. It has been rumored by some in the blogosphere that we were in the process of forming some sort of underground fight club, but those rumors just aren’t true, here’s the scoop:
The Central Arkansas Refresh Group consists of technically minded professionals who make their living on the web — bloggers, software developers, graphic artists, social networking enthusiasts, photographers, videographers, marketing and media gurus, and website owners.
Centered in Little Rock, the Central Arkansas Refresh group launched in February 2009 to serve as a hub for education, networking and the sharing of ideas among like-minded web professionals.
If you are interested in being a part of this fun group, we would love to have you, for more information, please check out our Facebook group page, which is now up to about 43 members. We even had a guy drive up from Hot Springs the other day, which was kind of cool. We plan on meeting the last Tuesday of each month, we haven’t set a permanent venue for our meetings yet but the search for that is underway right now.
We are also seeking some additional sponsors for the group, currently we have been in talks with O’Reilly, CodeSmith Tools, and Parallels just to name a few. If you know of a company or vendor that might be interested in sponsoring the group in some way please let us know!!
