Video: The Strangest Secret – Earl Nightingale

My team and I have been doing some professional development training recently and we've had some really cool curriculum. I wouldn't say that I've learned anything that I haven't heard before, but I think I'm able to absorb a lot of the information better now for some reason. This video is an archive of an old recording by Earl Nightingale from the … [Read more...]

The contents of the trailer were scattered all over the road, and pieces of the trailer became embedded in the bridge. The highway was closed as a … [Read more...]

Lots to be thankful for…

Have you ever had 100 things going on at once and then finally you get everything finished and then you take a deep breath? Well, that's where I am today. Two weeks ago this past Saturday we received the phone call we'd been waiting on for 3 years, we had a kidney! Donna and I just sat in our living room and stared at each other for a few minutes … [Read more...]

Successful -vs- Unsuccessful People

I recently ran across this graphic and thought it presented some valid points, some of you may have already seen it since I shared it on my Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts. As I've mentioned before, the reason I blog these days isn't so much for me to exchange ideas w/ others as it is for me to leave thoughts for my son to ponder when he's … [Read more...]

Remembering Lance Russell

Note: If you were a fan of Memphis Wrestling I highly recommend my friend, Mark James, Books! I woke up early this morning to a barrage of messages on my phone from my "wrestling buddies" offering condolences and tributes to Lance Russell, the legendary announcer that was the voice of "Memphis Rasslin'" back in the day. Lance had a very … [Read more...]
